Jess Wilson and her junior partners in the Nationals have announced how their cut plan will hurt our regions.

The Liberals and Nationals will slash 1 in 7 public servants – directly impacting services in our regions with at least 1,500 workers across regional Victoria being cut.

Across Victoria this cuts plan means:

• More than 430 workers would go in Geelong and the Barwon South-West region
• More than 350 workers would be ripped out of Ballarat and the Grampians region.
• More than 260 workers would be cut in Bendigo and the Loddon-Mallee region.
• More than 230 workers would be slashed in Gippsland.
• More than 200 workers would be axed in Wodonga and the Hume Region.

Jess Wilson and the Liberals have promised to cut taxes for business and property owners to the tune of $11 billion dollars.

We know what that means: They'll fund this by doing what the Liberals do best — cut from schools, cut from hospitals and cut from police.

The State Electricity Commission (SEC) drives down power bills, building publicly-owned renewable energy for Victorians.

The Liberals sold it off under Jeff Kennett in the 1990s, Labor has brought it back.

The Liberals will abolish it, again.

Brad Battin said “the SEC is gone if we win.”

We know what that means: Higher power prices for families, bigger profits for overseas corporations.

The Suburban Rail Loop will slash traffic congestion and transform our public transport system, as well as delivering more transport, more homes and more jobs.

The Liberals have announced they will cut it- even though the underground rail line is currently under construction.

We know what that means: More time stuck in traffic, and less time at home.

The Labor Government in Victoria is delivering more townhouses and apartments where young people want to live, near train stations.

It’s about opening doors for young people to get into a home they can afford.

The Liberals will reverse it.

We know what that means: No change to the status quo, no end to the housing crisis.
